General Production Worker

Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. This role involves various tasks within the assembly, operation, production, and warehouse environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in manufacturing or warehouse settings and be able to handle physical tasks efficiently.

ResponsibilitiesBlending of feed and grain mixture.Packaging of finished product.Material handling from one area to another.Palletizing the finished product.Wrapping the finished pallets to store and maintain freshness.Essential SkillsExperience in production, assembly, or manufacturing.Ability to handle physical tasks and lift up to 50 lbs.Diploma or GED.Flexibility to work any shift.Additional Skills & QualificationsForklift experience is a significant plus.Ability to maintain facial hair for effective respirator use.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The facility is located in Springfield, KY, and is more of a warehousing environment without production lines but with work cells. It is a non-temperature controlled building with industrial fans to keep you cool during hot summer months. You will train on days for up to 2 weeks before moving to a night shift on a 2-2-3 schedule with plenty of overtime.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Springfield, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.50
