Job Description
Cell Operators will be stationed at their own designated 'Cell' and tasked with taking rubber products for the automotive industry through the production cycle. The process and steps are nearly identical regardless of which cell one is placed in.
ResponsibilitiesFill the molding tool with raw material, placing metal rings into slots.Flip the tool onto the machine for molding.Remove the mold tool from the machine and cool the product with an air brush.Inspect the finished rubber products for defects such as air bubbles or rips.Dump inspected products into bins, weigh them, and track production counts.Perform quality checks using a binder outlining exact quality defects to look for.Maintain a shift log documenting operator activity, maintenance performed, scrap tracker, production goals, machine temperature, and product quality.Essential SkillsProduction experienceAttention to detailCounting and sortingInspectionPackagingMachine operationAbility to lift 35lbs repeatedlyAbility to stand for full shiftAbility to read and understand EnglishShift & Pay$22.352nd shift: Monday to Friday (2pm-10pm or 3pm-11pm) 3rd shift: Sunday to Thursday (10pm-6am or 11pm-7am)Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Operators work in 4-hour OT increments during the week, subject to weekend shifts. All operators get a 20-minute break during their 8-hour shift and another 20 minutes if they work 12 hours. Employees are not allowed to leave the facility during the shift or sit in their cars on-site. Smoking, tobacco, or vaping is not allowed on the property. PPE includes gloves, safety glasses, and safety sleeves. Shorts and regular shoes are permitted, with no hearing protection required. No rings or jewelry allowed, and long hair must be tied back.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.35 - $22.35
