Follows the work instructions to operate all machines and testing equipment to build and assemble quality pumps for the customer. Learn how to gauge products as required. Move material and parts within the cell work area and replenish stock. Maintain production, quality, and equipment documentation as required. Understand quality alerts and report issues to team lead. Repair defective/rejected production parts daily. Analyze defects and help with corrective action programs.

Work Environment
New plant moving into Warren from Oklahoma; works with all major automotive companies including Ford, GM, Tesla & FCA. The facility is a global automotive supplier of pump, valvetrain, transmission, and electric drive components and systems. The new technical center and manufacturing facility in Warren, MI is part of a growing, motivated team. The renovated old Mitsubishi Chemical Performance Polymers plant in Warren includes new electrical lines, CNC machinist lines for production, conveyors, carousel assembly equipment, and robotic weld cells. Machinery is moving to Michigan the weekend of Thanksgiving, and production is on track to start the first of the year. The plant will have various machines including hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, welding, hand tools, and assembly equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Warren, Michigan.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00
