Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. In this role, you will operate various packaging and case packing equipment to ensure the efficient distribution of dry pasta products. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment and performing various physical tasks as needed.

ResponsibilitiesOperate vertical form-fill-seal and folding carton equipment for packaging dry pasta products.Operate automated case packing equipment.Operate ink jet date and case coding equipment.Monitor and operate conveyors, elevators, and pallet stackers.Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts).Maintain a clean and safe work environment.Lift, stack, and perform other various tasks as needed.Essential Skills1+ year of production/manufacturing experience preferred.Ability to regularly lift and move up to 75 lbs.Capability to work in physically demanding situations, including bending, reaching, standing, leaning, and squatting.Ability to climb ladders and work on platforms at elevations of up to 100 feet.Knowledge of GMP policies and federal regulations related to process operations.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in food processing preferred.Participation in Plant Safety Programs.Must wear PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, and earplugs (provided).Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role in a non-climate-controlled environment. The work involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, dusty conditions, high noise levels, outside weather, and chemicals used in cleaning and sanitation processes. The dress code includes a t-shirt and long pants. You will work 8-hour shifts with the ability to work overtime as required by production schedule demands. Shifts are available from 7:00 am-3:30 pm, 3:00 pm-11:30 pm, and 11:00 pm-7:30 am. General production schedules are flexible from Monday to Saturday based on production needs.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lees Summit, Missouri.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50
