Job Title: Fiberglass Production Operator
Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as Fiberglass Production Operators. In this role, you will be responsible for gluing, assembling, and fabricating fiberglass panels and other products, as well as operating power machines to trim and drill products. You will learn various coating, painting, and grit application procedures, and contribute to the shipping and pultrusion processes.

ResponsibilitiesGlue, assemble, and fabricate fiberglass panels and other products.Operate power machines to trim and drill products.Push cross rods through grating to assemble panels or other products.Learn and apply various coating, painting, and grit application procedures.Palletize and prepare finished products for shipping.Read orders and match specified products to their specifications.Keep glass racks full and perform basic pultrusion machine operations.Essential SkillsGeneral production experience.Machine operation skills.Ability to lift 50 pounds several times per shift.Packaging, assembly, and picking/packing experience.General labor skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications6 months of work history at the same job, verified through references.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position requires constant standing, moderate to heavy lifting (20-50 pounds), and bending. You will be exposed to noise, dust, fiberglass, and resin chemicals as part of the manufacturing process. The team consists of 5 people per cell, with shifts structured as follows: 1st shift (7:00 AM - 3:00 PM), 2nd shift (3:00 PM - 11:00 PM), and 3rd shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM). Safety glasses, steel-toed boots, and hearing protection are required. It is recommended to wear jeans and a long sleeve shirt due to the fiberglass.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHATFIELD, Minnesota.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $19.00
