In this role, you will be responsible for assembling piping systems that are integral to the water systems of firetrucks. The position involves following blueprints and schematics and may include some light electrical wiring, primarily working with 12V systems. This role is primarily mechanical, with minimal electrical work involved. **Key Responsibilities:** + **Piping Assembly:** Assemble piping for firetruck water systems, ensuring precise fitting and functionality. + **Blueprint Interpretation:** Follow blueprints and schematics to accurately assemble components. + **Electrical Wiring:** Perform light electrical wiring tasks, primarily for 12V systems. + **Tool Usage:** Utilize hand tools and power tools for assembly and inspection tasks. + **Inspection & Quality:** Conduct inspections to verify the quality and accuracy of assembled components. **Essential Skills & Qualifications:** + **Tool Proficiency:** Experience with hand tools and power tools for mechanical assembly and inspection. + **Blueprint Reading:** Strong ability to interpret blueprints and schematics accurately. + **Mechanical Aptitude:** A good understanding of mechanical systems and assembly procedures. + **Electrical Knowledge:** Basic knowledge of 12V electrical systems for light wiring tasks. + **Physical Stamina:** Ability to climb, twist, bend, and stoop as required for the role. + **Dexterity & Flexibility:** Ability to work overhead, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. + **Lifting Capability:** Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly. **Why Work Here?** This position offers great opportunities for **growth** in a team-oriented environment.
