**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a diligent and motivated General Production Worker for a warehouse role in the coil field. This role involves using hand tools to strip large metal coils, inspecting coils for quality, measuring steel with tape measures and micrometers, and tagging coil products using an RF scan gun. The position also includes sorting scrap from packaging into bins, operating a forklift to stack pallets, and lifting and stacking heavy pins to complete pallets. **Responsibilities** + Use hand tools to strip large metal coils and inspect for initial quality. + Measure steel using tape measures and micrometers. + Receive and tag coil products using an RF scan gun. + Sort scrap from packaging into designated bins. + Operate a forklift to safely and accurately stack pallets. + Lift and stack heavy pins to complete pallets. + Visually inspect materials to ensure they are free of debris. + Monitor machines and products to detect any defects. + Measure defects from the edge of materials and communicate issues to the lead or supervisor. + Follow the 'stop, call, wait' protocol for reporting issues. **Essential Skills** + Experience in machine, equipment, crane, or forklift operation in a quality and safety-driven environment. + Strong math and measuring skills with an eye for detail. + Proficiency in using hand tools and measurement tools. + Ability to stand on feet for 12 hours per day and perform heavy lifting. + Experience in warehouse and general production environments. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Former experience in physically demanding labor work. + Ability to lift at least 50 pounds. + High attention to detail and ability to maintain focus to prevent accidents. + Positive attitude and willingness to learn. + Ability to work any shift, any hour of the day, any day of the week. + Completion of a math and reasoning test is required. + Experience with hand tools or measurement tools. **Why Work Here?** We offer a competitive pay rate and the opportunity to gain numerous skills.
