Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description

Cell Operators will be stationed at their own designated 'Cell' and tasked with taking rubber products for the automotive industry through the production cycle. The process/steps are nearly identical regardless of which cell one is placed in.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare the molding tool by filling slots with metal rings.Flip the prepared tool onto the machine and begin filling the next tool.Remove the mold tool from the machine and cool the product using an air brush.Inspect the finished rubber parts for defects such as air bubbles or rips.Weigh and document the inspected products.Perform quality checks using a provided binder.Maintain a shift log that includes operator information, maintenance performed, scrap tracking, production goals, machine temperature, and product quality specifications.Essential SkillsAbility to lift 35 lbs 30 times/hour.Ability to stand for the full shift.Ability to work safely and follow quality standards.Ability to read and understand English.Additional Skills & QualificationsStrong communication skills.Enthusiasm about the opportunity.No more than 2 jobs in the last 6 months.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Shift hours depend on the cell: 2nd shift Monday – Friday (2pm-10pm OR 3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift Sunday – Thursday (10pm-6am OR 11pm-7am). Employees may be required to work in 4-hour increments during the week and possibly on weekends. Breaks include a 20-minute break during an 8-hour shift and an additional 20 minutes if working a 12-hour shift. Smoking and the use of tobacco products or vaping are not allowed on the property. PPE includes gloves, safety glasses, and safety sleeves. Shorts and regular shoes are permitted, but no rings, jewelry, or long hair untied.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.35 - $22.35
