**Job Title: General Production Worker$$$$$18 above** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will operate a sit down, propane forklift, handle various materials, and assist with warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in varying weather conditions while adhering to safety protocols. **Responsibilities** + Operate a sit down, propane forklift. + Unload skids and drums off of trailers. + Move received product to correct locations in facility based on classification. + Read labels and handle materials according to label and classification. + Repackage small aerosol containers into and out of drums and large boxes. + Pour out liquid materials into larger storage drums. + Dispose of containers into dump trailers. + Reload new pallets onto outbound trailers. + Relabel containers as necessary. + Handle non-hazardous materials such as batteries, aerosol cans, and propane cans. + After training, handle hazardous materials (solid and liquid) and pump them into the storage tank farm. + Operate machinery to process and store containers. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50-60 lbs. + Willingness to work in all weather conditions. + No facial hair below the lip due to respirator requirements. + GED or Diploma. + Experience with forklifts, yard dogs, chemical handling, PPE, and material handling. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience. + Experience in chemical handling. + Use of Yard Dogs to move trailers. + Experience working in full PPE. **Why Work Here?** Join a company that values its employees by offering comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, employee assistance programs, and legal support. You will handle hazardous waste and may need to wear full Tyvek suits and respirators at times. Initially, you will work with non-hazardous materials during the contract period. The environment can be hot or cold, and full PPE, including hard hats, long sleeve uniforms, steel toe boots, and respirators, will be required as necessary. The position is for the first shift, working from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday to Friday. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Miamisburg, Ohio. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
