Production Workers Needed!!

Job Description

Join a dynamic team as a Painter Helper, where you will play a crucial role in the production process of manufacturing diamond blades and core bits primarily for the construction, stone, and mining industries. This position offers the opportunity to work on a variety of tasks, including painting, packaging, grinding, and more, while ensuring high-quality standards are met. Flexibility and teamwork are essential as you will be cross-trained in multiple areas and shift between different production roles.

ResponsibilitiesWear a respirator and other PPE such as apron, gloves, glasses, and steel-toed shoes.Paint parts and molds by reading job orders to determine paint colors.Mix paint using acetone and water, and operate a spray gun to paint blades.Work in a paint booth with suction air to reduce paint spray.Read, understand, and perform duties based on training and standard operating procedures.Inspect materials being produced or packed and perform required tests as defined in standard operating procedures.Communicate effectively and report problems to the supervisor.Meet production goals in a timely manner while being flexible and team-oriented.Perform inspections of materials being produced.Essential SkillsBasic understanding of production environments preferred.Ability to read and understand job orders and standard operating procedures.Basic math skills.Mechanical aptitude.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.Ability to perform repetitive tasks and work in a fast-paced environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsNo paint experience required, but a basic understanding of production environments is preferred.Reliability and tenure are valued over experience.Previous job experience indicating comfort with getting dirty, working with paint, and handling acetone.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position operates in a warehouse environment with erratic temperature control (hot in summer, cold in winter). The workshop is subject to heat, cold, noise, dust, and other particles. You will work with large equipment and machinery, including production machines and forklifts. Physical demands include frequently lifting up to 35 lbs, standing or sitting for extended periods, and performing repetitive bending, reaching, and climbing.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irvine, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
