Job Summary
Join our team and work under the guidance of the Production Supervisor or Plant Manager. You'll handle routine duties following standard policies and procedures, and refer any issues or questions to your supervisor.Job Responsibilities
Safely and efficiently operate and maintain concrete handling equipmentInspect product quality according to standards and adjust settings as neededDetect and report equipment malfunctions and quality issues to the Plant SupervisorAssist in maintaining accurate production flow and reportingPerform machine clean-up, set-up, and other functions associated with product changesExecute daily and business fundamentalsPerform additional duties as assigned by the Plant Manager, Supervisor, and Lead Machine OperatorBe willing and able to cross-train on other aspects of the production processOther duties may be assigned as neededJob Requirements
Experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment preferredAt least 2 years of experience operating similar equipmentHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experienceAbility to read and comprehend documents such as safety procedures, operating and maintenance instructionsPhysical requirements include lifting at least 75 lbs., extended standing, walking, sitting, bending, climbing, working inside and outside, and using fall protection equipmentAble to perform job tasks in dusty, hot, and/or cold working conditionsMust wear company-provided personal protective equipment: earplugs, hard hat, safety boots/shoes, and protective glasses. Candidates must provide their own safety boots/shoes upon hire and will be eligible to participate in the Safety Boots/Shoe Reimbursement Program after 30 days of employmentCompensation
$19 - $22 per hourPay and Benefits
