Job Description

We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers to join our team. This role involves operating machinery to produce concrete stone, loading raw materials into machines, and performing quality control to ensure compliance. Candidates should possess basic mechanical skills and be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment.

ResponsibilitiesLoad raw material into machines to produce concrete stone.Change specifications on touch screens to produce correctly sized blocks.Clean out machines at the end of the day.Operate machinery to produce concrete stone.Perform quality control to ensure blocks are within compliance.Remove material and perform heavy lifting up to 100 lbs.Conduct shoveling, light maintenance, and various other house tasks.Essential SkillsGeneral labor experienceConcrete production knowledgeMachine operation skillsAbility to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasksExperience with hand tools and power toolsComfortable working in dusty, dirty, and hot environmentsAdditional Skills & QualificationsExperience with forkliftsFamiliarity with using a tape measureConstruction, farming, or landscapingExperience with loading and unloading trucksWhy Work Here?

Work Environment

This is an outdoor environment with covered buildings that have large open doors for ventilation. The work environment is very dusty, dirty, and hot. Workers will be engaged in 12-hour shifts, 5-6 days a week, with the potential to move to a 5-day workweek with no weekend work once fully staffed. The workday runs from 6 AM to 6 PM for the day shift and 6 PM to 6 AM for the night shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, South Carolina.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00
