General Production Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We're looking for dedicated production workers to join our aerospace department. The role involves finishing, final inspection, and packaging of high-value foam products that will be used in airplanes. This is a highly quality-focused job where precision and attention to detail are paramount. **Responsibilities** + Use power tools (brazing type process) to trim excess foam from 3D printed pieces according to 3D blueprints. + Interpret blueprints to ensure the finished product meets quality standards. + Package foam parts in plastic, box, and label them as specified. + Assemble fixtures to secure parts for precise cutting. + Maintain a clean and orderly workspace to ensure product quality. **Essential Skills** + Experience using hand and power tools. + Responsibility for product quality. + Ability to interpret blueprints, ideally 3D blueprints. + Steady hands and patience for methodical tasks. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Quality mindset. + Assembly and inspection experience. + Familiarity with brazing, general labor, hand tools, machine operation, quality control, mechanical processes, and calipers. **Why Work Here?** Our company is run like a family business, where the owner remains involved and genuinely cares about the employees. Personal protective equipment such as gloves and safety glasses are required. Dust masks or respirators are provided but not mandatory. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00 Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
