We are seeking multiple candidates for the General Fabrication role at a manufacturing company in Batavia, IL. Candidates will be General Fabrication workers (GFab). This role is essentially a floating position where candidates are responsible for a variety of different tasks within the plant. The typical shift is 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday. ResponsibilitiesMust be open to all roles and flexible in learning and working in any department as needed. Training will be provided in every department for every position.Laser Cutting: Take the sheets of steel that are lasered on the machine to their station. Use hand tools to knock out the cut pieces from the sheet of steel, perform a visual inspection, and stack them in the tote to move to the next stage. Use a deburring/polisher to smooth out edges.Paint Line: Hang pieces on the line and ensure proper preparation by taping off sections and filling holes as needed before the line runs the pieces through for paint.Assembly: Perform straightforward assembly using hand and power tools to put the pieces together.Essential Skills

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00
