**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for inspecting and ensuring the safe use and disposition of production fixtures, chains, and hooks. You will hand wire small to medium-sized parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing, pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking, and move lightweight pieces of steel by hand from different locations in the plant and yard. **Responsibilities** + Inspect and ensure the safe use and disposition of production fixtures, chains, and hooks. + Hand wire small to medium-sized parts to racks for pickling or galvanizing. + Pull and place chains and ropes around steel bundles for racking. + Move lightweight pieces of steel by hand from different locations in the plant and yard. + Perform paddling functions to enhance the quality level of the various galvanized products using air guns to blow off zinc needles. + Use air or electric-powered tools to help prepare or clean up steel for pickling or galvanizing. + Assist in general plant clean-up and housekeeping. + Work safely, protecting self and others from accidents and injury. **Essential Skills** + Production experience + General labor experience + Experience with hand tools and power tools + Manual labor skills + Experience with racking + Ability to lift 50lbs regularly + Accurately read a tape measure + High awareness of safety **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 6 months + of manufacturing or general labor experience **Why Work Here?** We offer up to $200 bonus per month for consistent attendance. There is a production bonus of up to $350 per month based on plant performance. Safety bonuses can reach up to $500.
