**General Production Worker**
**1st Shift | $20 - $22/hr**
**Overview**
As a General Production Worker, you will operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials in a precise manner to create flavor products. You will ensure understanding of all safety, quality, and operational procedures relevant to the role, utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling, and follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during the production process. The typical schedule will be 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Monday - Friday.
**Responsibilities**
+ Operate equipment to accurately utilize raw ingredient materials in a precise manner to create flavor products.
+ Ensure understanding of all safety, quality, and operational procedures relevant to the role.
+ Utilize tools and electronic/computer systems for compounding and container filling.
+ Utilize computer, scan gun, or other tools and processes to correctly match ingredients to shop orders.
+ Follow production, safety, quality, and operational procedures to verify and record information during production process.
+ Ensure proper ventilation and use of safety equipment.
+ Develop understanding of Quality Control requirements for sampling, product testing, swabbing of equipment, and follow policies surrounding Quality Control needs.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in the food industry and familiarity with industry-related quality systems and procedures is highly preferred.
+ 2+ years of relevant work experience preferred.
+ Excellent attention to detail and adherence to policies and procedures.
+ Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematics, including metric, in English.
+ Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs regularly.
+ Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
+ Bilingual English/Spanish is preferred.

**Work Environment**
Very clean, temperature-controlled food production environment. The facility produces flavors, with a focus on sweets, which can result in a strong but generally pleasant smell. The job requires standing, using hands and fingers, handling or feeling, reaching with hands and arms, and talking or hearing. Employees must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Occasional use of a full-face respirator is required, and candidates must pass related medical screening, fit testing, and conform to required grooming standards.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $22.00/hr.
