General Production Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for loading and unloading materials into and out of trucks onto conveyor belts and pallets. You will mix materials to manufacture concrete blocks and load these blocks onto conveyor belts. This is a physically demanding role, requiring you to lift up to 50 lbs consistently throughout the day. **Responsibilities** + Load and unload materials into and out of trucks onto conveyor belts and pallets. + Mix materials to manufacture concrete blocks. + Load concrete blocks onto conveyor belts. + Perform general labor tasks in a production environment. **Essential Skills** + Ability to lift 50 lbs consistently throughout the day. + Ability to stand on feet for the entire shift. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Hands-on working experience in landscaping, construction, or athletics is beneficial. + Mechanical skills or mechanical thinking is a plus. **Why Work Here?** This position offers good starting pay with no experience required and significant growth potential. Most of the work is performed outside but under a roof, in a dusty environment due to the materials. The shift runs from 6am to 3 or 4 in the afternoon, Monday through Friday, with optional Saturdays. Expect to work 45-55 hours a week. This position is an ongoing contract that could last a couple of months or up to 90 business days to hire. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Westbrook, Connecticut. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
