**Job Title: Entry Level Production Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking individuals who are looking for a long-term opportunity in a small manufacturing company located in northern Blair County. The successful candidate will be required to stand for 8 hours a day, read a tape measure, cut materials, and complete basic functions on a computer. This role primarily involves measuring and cutting plastic materials and completing tasks through work orders on the computer. We will be conducting interviews starting this week.
**Responsibilities**
+ Stand for 8 hours a day
+ Read a tape measure accurately
+ Measure and cut plastic materials
+ Complete basic functions on a computer
+ Open and manage work orders on the computer
+ Perform inspections and repairs as needed
+ Use hand tools for assembly and production tasks
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately (including 8th, 16ths)
+ Basic math skills
+ Basic computer skills
+ Experience with production and inspection tasks
+ Familiarity with hand tools
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Ability to take a test on the metric system and inch system
+ Experience with repair and assembly tasks
**Work Environment**
The work environment is a refurbished, clean, and climate-controlled old building. It offers a small, friendly setting where employees can focus on their tasks comfortably.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
