**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** As a General Production Worker, you will operate a paper rewinding machine and assist with operations on the packaging line. You will be responsible for documenting and communicating all changes during your shift and ensuring seamless communication with incoming workers. You will also perform quality control tests on all finished products prior to and during packaging. **Responsibilities** + Operate paper rewinding machine. + Assist with operations on the packaging line. + Document and communicate all changes during your shift. + Perform quality control tests on all finished products prior to and during packaging. + Set up machines using production schedules provided by supervisors. + Rewind larger rolls of paper products into smaller, retail-packaged products. + Adjust machine tolerances, speed of the rewinder, and load new paper rolls onto the machine after each production run. + Ensure clear expectations for assistant operators and provide assistance where needed, including packaging, pulling more materials, and helping with roll and machine changeovers. **Essential Skills** + Experience as a machine operator. + Ability to set up and change over machines. + Strong troubleshooting skills. + Effective communication with assistant operators and material handlers. + Ability to stand on feet for up to 12 hours. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Forklift experience is a plus. + Ability to work effectively in a team environment. **Why Work Here?** Our company offers a competitive benefits program and potential for growth. The facility has clearly marked lines on the floor for safe walking paths, and personal protective equipment (PPE) such as eye glasses and ear plugs are provided. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Green Bay, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
