**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking a skilled Electrical Assembler to join our team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read schematics, use fine tools, and work with hand and power tools to assemble products. The position requires strong attention to detail and the ability to use hands for extended periods. **Responsibilities** + Train on the FCSD line with a goal to eventually move to the level 1 SCI Line. + Read and comprehend schematics and blueprints to assemble products. + Use small tools and fine motor skills to assemble products. + Work at the beginning of the assembly process, ensuring quality over quantity. + Complete assembly so the product can move to the next station for further processing by more experienced employees. **Essential Skills** + Ability to read schematics and blueprints. + Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools including micrometers and calipers. + Familiarity with mechanical torque wrenches. + Strong fine motor skills and ability to use hands for long periods. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly. + Ability to solder and crimp. + Mechanical aptitude and general production skills. **Why Work Here?** Our company is one of the largest train electronic manufacturers in the world, owned by a European company with extensive contracts in the USA. Employees must be able to bend and move their hands, arms, and elbows repeatedly and look at small objects throughout the day. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of BALLSTON SPA, New York. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
