**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Candidates will be working in the batch mixing department, handling various tasks to ensure efficient production processes. **Responsibilities** + Loading dry ingredients + Weighing dry ingredients + Lifting bags or ingredients + Setting machinery for cooks + Gathering raw materials and ingredients from inventory + Following recipes to mix and add ingredients + Setting liquid filler machinery to mixing tanks + Dumping ingredients into tanks + Waiting for product to cook + Cleaning and organizing stations + Climbing ladders to dump and add ingredients + Cutting boxes and gathering ingredients + Staging materials **Essential Skills** + GMP Experience - 1 year + Packaging Experience - 1 year + Manufacturing Experience - 1 year + Comfortable lifting 40 lbs. individually + Comfortable climbing ladders - working on mezzanine above kettles/tanks **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Bilingual + Blending, Batch Mixing experience **Why Work Here?** The company collaborates with large clients and is very profitable, expanding with numerous opportunities for career advancement. The floor consists of different tanks, machinery, and packaging lines. It is temperature controlled but can be warmer around the machinery and kettles for cooking. The facility is very nice and has a pleasant smell. Candidates need to be comfortable wearing hairnets, beard nets, no jewelry, work pants, and non-slip boots as it is a GMP environment. The 3rd shift hours are Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Broadview, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.05 - $18.05/hr.
