**Job Title: Production Worker** **Job Description** Aerotek's client is looking for candidates who will be willing to learn and train to operate and maintain machines to meet production safety and quality standards. Understand and perform troubleshooting as required. Participate in training of colleagues and temporary workforce. Perform preventative maintenance as required. Communicate with team leader and colleagues on a daily basis. **Responsibilities** + Run machines and perform setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting as required. + Train and be capable of running all machines as instructed. + Perform all material handling related functions. + Load and remove parts from machines. + Communicate in a timely manner with team leaders and mechanics. + Move (push, pull, or otherwise manipulate) materials up to 30 lbs. + Perform repetitive operations following standard methods or direct instructions, using judgment to detect and clear misloaded parts. + Be alert to detect and remove defective material and follow SDN work instructions for non-conforming material. + Ensure a constant flow of components as necessary to run machines. + Report unusual conditions or faulty operations to proper supervision in a timely manner. + Complete all required paperwork accurately. + Perform other duties as assigned by team leader and/or superintendent. **Essential Skills** + Ability to run machines and perform setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting. + Capability to train and operate all instructed machines. + Experience in material handling and loading/unloading parts from machines. + Effective communication skills with team leaders and mechanics. + Physical ability to move materials up to 30 lbs. + Attention to detail to detect and remove defective material. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High School Diploma or GED. **Why Work Here?** Join a team that values safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
