**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking diligent and detail-oriented General Production Workers to join our team. Openings are available at both our Alsip and Chicago Heights facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless packaging and preparation of our products for distribution. 2nd shift 3:30pm- 12pm midnight $18.35 an hour plus overtime on saturdays **Responsibilities** + Putting caps and lids on bottles + Bottling products into boxes and cases + Placing bottles, caps, lids into boxes + Sorting and separating finished products + Packing jugs and bottles into boxes + Lifting and staging boxes + Palletizing and wrapping boxes and containers + Placing boxes and products into sealer machinery + Performing quality inspections by counting, sorting, and sizing + Placing tags and labels on products and boxes + Pulling cases off the line and stacking on pallets + Wrapping and staging cases and boxes + Working on multiple lines - Packaging product + Assisting operators with batch mixing and janitorial work + Weighing out product liquid and performing prep work for batches + Documenting all orders + Working with drums and totes + Lifting up to 55lbs + Housekeeping duties including sweeping, mopping, trash removal, and salting parking lot during snow **Essential Skills** + Ability to perform multiple jobs and work in multiple areas + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Manufacturing experience + Wearing steel toe boots **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in chemical, oil, or food manufacturing + Packaging and batch mixing experience + Labor experience + Multi-tasking ability **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic work environment where flexibility and teamwork are highly valued. Recently remodeled, it features organized inventory and supplies. Chicago Heights Facility: Larger and busier with a few hundred employees across shifts. It is also temperature-controlled with multiple break rooms and security checkpoints. Both locations prioritize safety and provide a structured, efficient work environment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chicago heights **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $18.45/hr.
