Job Description
The General Production Worker will be part of a crew operating two production lines in a day shift role. Safety is the top priority for all roles. The primary responsibility is as a winding operator, focusing on quality inspection and packaging for all products.
ResponsibilitiesOperate winding machinery and ensure quality inspection of products.Perform quality packaging for all products.Support the final step in the production process by pulling products from machines and preparing them for shipment.Print and apply labels, ensuring accuracy in quality and count.Manage waste and recycling, including handling cardboard and plastics.Load and stack materials for rework and band pallets for shipment.Assist in product changeover procedures on the production line.Work collaboratively with a team in all roles.Essential SkillsExperience with hand tools, packing, and tape measures.1-2 years of manufacturing experience preferred.Detail-oriented with a strong focus on safety.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic math skills.Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a clean and organized manufacturing facility. Employees work in pods of 7-9 people and rotate job duties throughout the day. The role requires standing for most of the 12-hour shift, with a half-hour break and two 15-minute breaks. The majority of the work is done by machines, and the facility is a no-tobacco premises.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.15 - $23.15/hr.
