General Production Worker
**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** Candidates will be responsible for the total production process through the finished goods stage, ensuring product safety and quality of goods produced. Responsibilities include monitoring multiple high-speed automated production machines to achieve quality production standards, verifying component correctness, performing visual and gauge-based quality checks, conducting tests on assembled products, filling machine hoppers, and maintaining records using various production forms and a PC. Additional tasks include loading and threading tubing onto machines and utilizing a handheld scanner for traceability. Candidates must be able to lift and move up to 25 lbs and reach above shoulder height for approximately 5% of the shift time. Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English is required to communicate and understand relevant information related to quality and production issues. Basic math and PC skills are also necessary. **Responsibilities** + Monitor multiple high-speed automated production machines to ensure quality production standards. + Verify correctness of components and perform quality checks visually and using inspection gauges. + Conduct testing on assembled products. + Fill machine hoppers and perform record keeping using various production forms and a PC. + Load and thread tubing onto machines. + Utilize a handheld scanner to perform traceability. + Lift and move up to 25 lbs and reach above shoulder height as needed. + Read, write, and speak English to communicate and understand relevant information related to quality and production issues. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of production or manufacturing experience. + Tenure of 2+ years at the same company. + Basic PC and math skills for orders and computer entry. + Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English. + Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs and reach above shoulder height. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience working in a GMP environment is a plus. + Any plastics experience is a plus. + Any assembly or operator experience is a plus. **Why Work Here?** This company is among the top-ranked companies to work for, according to Forbes. New employees will wear blue hats. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract position based out of Cary, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $20.00/hr.
