**Job Title: General Production Worker** **Job Description** We are seeking dedicated General Production Workers for our facilities. The role involves packaging labor tasks such as placing caps and lids on bottles, bottling products into boxes and cases, sorting finished products, and performing quality inspections. Candidates will also assist with batch mixing, janitorial work, and other production-related tasks. Flexibility and the ability to perform multiple tasks across various areas are essential. **Responsibilities** + Put caps and lids on bottles + Bottle products into boxes and cases + Place bottles, caps, and lids into boxes + Sort and separate finished products + Pack jugs and bottles into boxes + Lift and stage boxes + Palletize and wrap boxes and containers + Place boxes and products into sealer machinery + Perform quality inspections by counting, sorting, and measuring sizes + Place tags and labels on products and boxes + Pull cases off the line and stack on pallets + Wrap and stage cases and boxes + Work on multiple lines packaging products + Assist operators with batch mixing and janitorial work + Help with making batches, weighing out product liquid, and preparation work + Document all orders + Work with drums and totes + Lift up to 55 lbs + Wear steel toe boots + Perform housekeeping duties such as sweeping, mopping, taking out trash, and salting the parking lot during snow **Essential Skills** + Ability to perform multiple jobs and work in multiple areas + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs + Manufacturing experience + Steel toe boots **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in chemical, oil, or food manufacturing + Packaging experience + Batch mixing + Lifting and sorting products + Labor experience + Multi-tasking **Why Work Here?** Our facilities offer a modern, clean, and temperature-controlled environment with a strong focus on safety. The Chicago Heights facility, although not as new, is also temperature controlled and houses a larger workforce. Both locations prioritize safety and cleanliness. Shifts are available as follows: 1st Shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM), 2nd Shift (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM), and 3rd Shift (11:30 PM - 8:00 AM). Currently, 3rd shift has one opening, and Saturday overtime is required throughout February. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alsip, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.25 - $18.45/hr.
