Summary About the Position: This position will serve as General Supply Specialist with the Fires Capabilities Development Integration Directorate (CDID), US Army Futures Command located at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. This position is covered by a Laboratory Personnel Demonstration Project. Responsibilities Ensure that all supply requirements are processed accurately and timely. Maintain supply storage area in accordance with regulatory guidance. Validate and revise stock levels. Reconstruct records for complex supply transactions. Assist Property Book Officer by maintaining all property books. Physically inventory property and compares inventory results with property records. Serve as Facilities and Services Assistant advising of building problem areas and the status of action taken, Compile information and prepare a variety of reports. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. General Experience: Three years progressively responsible experience, 1 year of which was equivalent to at least the DE 01/GS-04 pay band or grade level, which includes: 1. Originating requisition paperwork to order /supplies; 2. Issuing supplies to organization personnel; 3. providing technical support to assist customers with supply issues; 4. maintaining hand receipts to ensure property is accounted for; 5. Assisting with inventories to maintain supply levels; and 6. Performing warehouse duties such as unloading supplies, and stocking shelves. This definition of general experience is typical of work performed at the next lower grade/level position in the federal service (DE01/GS-04). OR Education: Four year course of study leading to a bachelor's degree. OR Combination of Education and Experience: A combination of education and experience may be used to qualify for this position as long as the computed percentage of the requirements is at least 100%. To compute the percentage of the requirements, divide your total months of experience by 36. Then divide your total number of completed undergraduate semester hours (or equivalent) by 120. Add the two percentages.
