Providence is seeking a full-time board-eligible/board-certified General Surgeon to join a growing practice at a busy urban medical center. This position will be part of a high-quality team of six General Surgeons and six advanced practice clinicians, providing dedicated acute care surgery coverage and elective surgical services at Providence Portland Medical Center. The practice is part of and supported by Providence Medical Group and is part of a larger surgical specialties program including general surgery practices at five area hospitals. * Call coverage at Providence Portland Medical Center shared among six surgeons with one dedicated to acute care surgery each day. * Elective practice in the hospital and ambulatory surgery center * Access to robotics and endoscopy * Flexible schedule with on-call coverage and elective service required * Clinic location is on campus with excellent support staff **Where You’ll Work** Providence Portland Medical Center is recognized for excellence in patient care and research in cancer, heart, orthopedics, women's health and rehabilitation services.
