As a Generation Application Support Specialist Senior, you will be part of the IT department supporting various business units. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, the ability to multitask, and a commitment to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Generation Application Support Specialist Senior
**Location: Remote**
**Pay Range:** $46
**What's the Job?**
+ Optimize the value of existing applications and software agreements through effective production, project, and user support.
+ Manage tasks with AEP IT and promote user experience design concepts.
+ Partner with application users to understand business processes and lead process redesign using continuous improvement techniques.
+ Coordinate and support work for application governance, integrations, migrations, enhancements, and maintenance.
+ Identify and support continuous improvement opportunities for automation and digitization of existing processes.
**What's Needed?**
+ BA/BS in engineering, physical science, computer science, business, or finance with 6 years of related experience, or 8+ years of relevant experience in the utility industry.
+ Experience with software projects, including migrations, integrations, and data dependencies.
+ Proficiency in MS Office package (Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint).
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with all levels of management.
+ Experience in Agile project methodology or continuous improvement preferred.
