Generation Operator - MOC/OCC Desk

One of our energy clients is hiring for a Generation Operator.
Their 24-hour Market Operations Center (MOC) provides real-time monitoring and control center services remotely from our Center City Philadelphia offices. The MOC manages over 380 power generation assets across the U.S., including hydro, wind, solar, energy storage, natural gas, and other traditional fossil fuel sources.
The CES (Customized Energy Solutions) MOC consists of two distinct operations desks, a Market Operations Center Desk (MOC) and an Operations Control Center Desk (OCC). CES is in the process of increasing the staffing for both MOC and OCC Desks and is looking for a talented individual with a desire to help support our clients, while also contributing to the overall growth of this company. Candidates who can learn quickly and handle multiple tasks while at the same time being detail oriented enough to make sure things are done right the first time will flourish in this role.

Skills and Requirements
- willingness to work a rotating 12-hour shift (6-person rotation) - includes nights, weekends, and occasional holidays
- expected to submit real-time and day-ahead energy bids and offers on behalf of clients
- ability to actively monitor and control the operating of wind turbines, hydroelectric plants, solar sites, and battery storage facilities, along with related components
- ability to effectively maintain an operations log
- two year college degree in Electrical Technology, Finance/Economics, and/or other engineering-related degree, or equivalent experience (includes former military nuclear and fueling operations)
- experience monitoring GE, Siemens, PI or other Generation SCADA/EMS Systems
- experience demonstrating basic skills using computer applications (ex. email, Internet, Word, Excel, etc.) - PJM or NERC operator certification null
