Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly expert Principal Architect with 16 to 18 years of experience to join our team with varied strengths. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Large Language Models (LLMs), AWS Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence. This hybrid role requires a deep understanding of open-source technologies and the ability to drive innovative solutions. The position operates during day shifts and does not require travel.
Responsibilities Own the design and implementation of scalable architectures for large language models (LLMs) to enhance our AI capabilities. Supervise the integration of open-source LLMs with AWS infrastructure to ensure seamless deployment and operation. Provide technical expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence to drive innovation and improve existing systems. Collaborate with multi-functional teams to identify and address technical challenges in LLM deployment. Develop and maintain standard methodologies for LLMs and machine learning models to ensure high performance and reliability. Conduct regular code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality. Ensure that all AI and machine learning solutions align with industry standards and regulations. Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on standard methodologies in AI and machine learning. Drive the adoption of new technologies and methodologies to keep the company at the forefront of AI innovation. Analyze and optimize the performance of LLMs to meet the companies operational requirements. Coordinate with product managers to align technical solutions with business objectives. Develop comprehensive documentation for all AI and machine learning projects to facilitate knowledge sharing. Supervise the latest trends in AI and machine learning to ensure the company remains competitive. Qualifications Possess a deep understanding of large language models and their applications. Demonstrate extensive experience with AWS and its machine learning services. Exhibit strong expertise in machine learning algorithms and artificial intelligence techniques. Show proficiency in integrating open-source technologies with enterprise systems. Have a consistent record of leading sophisticated AI projects from conception to deployment. Display excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically. Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams. Hold a degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field. Preferably have certifications in AWS Machine Learning or related AI technologies. Salary and Other Compensation:Applications will be accepted until 11/18/2024.
The annual salary for this position is between $140,000-$165,000 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
