As a Generator/Equipment Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing a variety of mechanical systems and equipment. Your expertise will ensure the smooth operation of machinery, vehicles, and other mechanical systems as well as other types of electrical equipment essential for the organization's functionality, such as switchgear repairs & apparatus testing, IR scans, installation of electrical equipment and more. For this position we are aiming to find generator repair experience, preferably an electrical theory background but not required, our ABM equipment technician experts will provide hands on training on the electrical testing part of the job and this training will be geared towards NETA (National Electric Testing Association) The world’s most respected organization with the highest standards & practices for electrical apparatus testing. **Job Title:** Generator Technician **Position Overview:** **Pay:** $52,000 **-** $83,200 Salary. Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal functioning of machinery and equipment. 2. Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime. 3. Conduct inspections and assessments to identify potential issues and prevent equipment failures. 4. Repair and replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment. 5.
