Genetic Counselor - Oncology Services

Under the direction of the Oncology Services Manager, the Genetic Counselor will assess and counsel individuals and families regarding genetic cancer risk and risk management as well as participate in cancer genetics case conferences, tumor boards, medical staff and consumer education, and collaborative research projects. Supports satellite clinics as needed.

Required qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Genetic Counseling. California Genetic Counselor - State of California Genetic Counselors upon hire National Certified Genetic Counselor - American Board of Genetic Counseling upon hire Experience providing genetic counseling and risk assessment.

Preferred qualifications:

1 year of experience providing cancer genetic counseling and risk assessment.
