Consider joining Lancaster Laboratories where people are the most important element in our chemistry.  Celebrating 50 years of service, Lancaster Laboratories is a leading contract lab providing testing and research services in the environmental, pharmaceutical, and biopharmaceutical sciences to clients worldwide. + Perform high-throughput phenotyping in an organized and timely manner + Perform Cell Culture of Primary Cells and complete various Cell Based Assays independently + Perform high-throughput sample testing in an organized and timely manner + Maintain excellent aseptic technique and ensure sterility/quality of cell culture and assay outcomes + Work safely within BSL-2 laboratory environment + Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks, prepare precise technical report summaries, any necessary analysis and maintain appropriate documentation Basic Laboratory management, multitasking, and experimental troubleshooting + Educational background:  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in scientific discipline with emphasis in genetics, molecular biology, biochemistry, or related disciplines with 1-3 years of hands on experience + Training and experience with Cell Culture (Primary Cells, Mammalian Cell Culture, maintaining cell lines, etc) + Working knowledge of and/or skills in cell biology/genetics field (pipetting, aseptic technique, preparing media, cell based assay work, nucleic acid isolation, library prep, cytokinetic assay, etc) + Excellent attention to detail + Comfort working within a fast-paced lab environment + Ability to perform basic dilution and stoichiometric calculations + Ability to work independently with ambiguity and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude Attention to detail and good oral and written communication skills required Position is full-time, on-site Mon-Fri 8:00am-5:00pm.
