KBR is seeking a GEOINT Analyst to assist in the detailed technical analysis of GEOINT product quality concerns. This function will provide highly experienced GEOINT analysts to provide oversight and continuity of knowledge to the team who can support the broad range of assessments and assessment tasks both independent and with senior guidance.
Responsibilities:
Provide GEOINT analyst support through accomplishment of technical reviews, consultations, oversight of proposed and executed GEOINT product quality assessments and studies, and strategic level product quality direction.
Provide analysis in support of GEOINT product quality assessments for the full range of traditional and non-traditional imaging systems, products, and data formats; sensor fidelity assessment, pixel registration assessment, Tonal Transfer Curve assessments, Relative Edge Response assessment, MTF and Signal to Noise Ratio assessment, and other product quality parameters.
Provide GEOINT analyst support of the full range of traditional and non-traditional imaging systems and products; assessment of product geolocation accuracy using verified geolocation of a known features, verifying mensuration accuracy through measurement of known objects, calculating ground sample distance, and other photogrammetric analyses as directed.
Provide GEOINT analyst services in support of GEOINT product quality assessment planning, execution, results analysis and reporting.
Provide qualified expertise on the use of COTS and GOTS electronic light table (ELT) applications employed within the NSG.
Provide ELT software assessments for the full range of traditional and non-traditional imaging systems, products, and imagery data formats as required by program requirements or user needs to include: ELT functional and non-functional requirements, ELT output products, image chain verification, Softcopy Image Processing Standard (SIPS) performance, data compression, display performance, and others.
Provide analysis of new sensor products toward development of recommended default display settings for ELTs.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills:
Associates Degree or High School Diploma with 4 years of applied GEOINT experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 2 years of applied GEOINT experience
Knowledge and experience with digital cartography, image processing, computer technology, geographical information systems (GIS), geospatial production techniques, remote sensing, and photogrammetry.
Knowledge of, and experience with: ArcGIS, ArcSDE, ArcView, ArcIMS, ArcTools, the Integrated Exploitation Capability (IEC) system, SocetSet, TerraExplorer/Builder, RemoteView, ERDAS IMAGINE, MRSID, VB/VBA (or some other object oriented programming/scripting language), Oracle and other appropriate software to analyze geospatial data.
Demonstrated knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes and sensors.
Skills of Imagery Access Systems/Libraries, Multi-INT Data, Full Motion Video, Imagery Analysis System and Software, Analytical Techniques, and Imagery/Geospatial Products.
Demonstrated knowledge of commercial imagery, products, processes and sensors.
Strong research, critical thinking and analytic skills
Ability to brief senior staff officers.
Security Clearance Requirements: Active TS/SCI (with Polygraph preferred)
