GEOINT Ground Systems Engineer
**Responsibilities** Noblis ESI is seeking a GEOINT Ground Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering and Technical Advisory (SETA) servicesin Fort Belvoir, VA. The selected candidate will work multiple ground system projects and tasks—from broad, strategic issues (e.g. policies, concept of operations, etc.) to tactical concerns (e.g., near-term schedules, testing, system integration and transition, etc.). Responsibilities Include: + Support Chief Engineer and government staff to execute systems engineering and integration (SE&I) activities across customer site. + Work with SE&I teams to execute site system engineering process; oversee site processes used to document and manage site baseline to accommodate evolving mission needs. + Collaborate with System Program Offices (SPO) and other Government Agencies to integrate various GEOINT space missions into a ground-based architecture,ensure the delivering organization understands site integration needs and processes. + Assist in developing standards, processes and procedures, and operations & maintenance plans; review and evaluate technical documentation (e.g. CONOPS, requirements; issues and risks, etc.). + Represent government’s interests at various forums; provide analysis and recommendations to multiple government customers. + Serve as liaison between GPOC and internal/external organizational project managers to guide and monitor progress. + Occasional CONUS/OCONUS travel. **Required Qualifications** + Active TS/SCI with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph. + Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of experience OR Master's degree in STEM field and 6 years of experience. + Expertise in fullsystem engineering life cycle;fromconcept, requirements, design & development, to deployment and operational maintenance. + Experience with project management supporting the delivery, integration and transition of mission systems and/or mission applications. + Polished communicator (written/verbal), impeccable interpersonal skills and personal judgment and comfortable briefing or communicating with senior government managers. + Experience with collaborating and coordinating with multiple stakeholders - consensus builder. **Desired Qualifications** + Familiar with operation of ground terminal systems and remote receive facilities and infrastructure systems. + Technical knowledge of space-to-ground communications, terrestrial communications, mission data processing systems, or space vehicle mission planning and command and control systems. + Real-time operations experience as a SIGINT or GEOINT spacecraft operator, spacecraft engineer, or ground systems operator; familiar with space operations and policies. + Ability to work independently to support multiple government customers and large, complex projects to address organization’s needs throughout system development lifecycle. + Self-starter, proactively addresses customer requirements without supervision; expert at defining solutions for broad, abstract topics. **Overview** Noblis (http://www.noblis.org/) and our wholly owned subsidiaries, Noblis ESI , and Noblis MSD tackle the nation's toughest problems and apply advanced solutions to our clients' most critical missions. Compensation at Noblis is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the combination of education, certifications, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, internal and external equity, location, clearance level, as well as contract-specific affordability, organizational requirements and applicable employment laws. The projected compensation range for this position is based on full time status. For part time or on-call staff, compensation is proportionately adjusted based on hours worked.
