Job Title: Geologist

Job DescriptionAs a Geologist, you will be engaged in various field works including groundwater sampling, soil sampling/soil boring logs, drilling oversight, and sediment sampling. You may also be responsible for writing specific technical sections or reports and plans as assigned. This role includes on-the-job training for other geoscientists and participation in Department courses and exercises. You will ensure project compliance with technical specifications and standard operating procedures, supervise subcontractors in the field, and provide recommendations to supervisors regarding potential problems in project technical quality. You will be tasked with evaluating and interpreting environmental data and preparing data tabulation, evaluation, and technical reports.

This is a permanent position.

Work Site

This is a hybrid position requiring some days on-site in West Chester, Pennsylvania and some days remote.

Work Environment

You will be part of a team consisting of 10-12 members working on confidential accounts. The position demands a balance between field and home-based work, with about 50% of your time spent in the field at a site in MN, and the remaining 50% from home. This position is available due to ongoing and backlog projects. There are growth opportunities available, with a strong mentorship program in place. You will have the opportunity to pursue your PG and could potentially advance to a upper level project scientist or a Project Manager.
