Job Description
Primary responsibilities will include soil and groundwater characterization, well sampling, pumping tests, groundwater sampling, data entry and evaluation, graphics support, and remedial system performance monitoring. The Staff Geologist will be responsible for operating remediation systems and compiling reports to present findings. Setup real-time wellsite monitoring equipment, create detailed logs, and daily reports highlighting rig activities. Some out-of-state travel may be required to Virginia and New Jersey. Candidates will perform site visits, conduct field geological and/or geophysical investigations, and oversee project work. Office tasks may include laboratory data review, boring log preparation and interpretation, and technical report writing. Duties may also include providing GIS support, database management, and producing maps.

The Geologist will work outdoors on a daily basis, exposed to summer heat and extreme weather conditions. The role involves working with wells and landfills and includes a balance of 50% fieldwork and 50% office tasks.

The pay range for this position is $17.78 - $21.63
