Performs technical work with competence on routine assignments, and is sufficiently experienced to train, motivate, and supervise the work of others. + Organizes field operations and can provide oversight of field activities. + Deploys, operates, troubleshoots and maintains geophysical equipment. + Installs, reads, and interprets field instrumentation and performs field measurements. + Is responsible for acquiring, processing and interpreting, a variety of geophysical datasets. + Is responsible for collecting samples and transporting them to the laboratory. + Conducts field activities including mobilization, set up and demolition of monitoring equipment. Works independently on a variety of construction sites or green field sites. + Describes samples. + Prepares reports on field activities and summarizes field and laboratory data. + Performs scientific, compliance, or engineering analyses and studies. + Checks work for accuracy and reasonableness. + Checks vendors' invoices. + Alerts project leader or supervisor to technical, managerial, or administrative problems arising during the course of a contract. + Prepares technical reports on routine projects. + Able to work independently on varied assignments. + Exercises responsible judgement on technical matters within the limits of current experience level. + May discuss technical matters with client after review and approval by Supervisor or Project Manager. + Projects a positive image of the Firm in dealings with outside groups and clients. **Experience:** + Bachelor's degree in geophysics, geology or related geoscience.
