Geophysical Survey Pilot (International)

Rampart Aviation is currently hiring pilots for airborne geophysical survey operations worldwide. Experience in the DHC-6 Twin Otter preferred and low level geophysical survey experience preferred. This position is for a independent contractor and length of employment is based on the length of the contract.
BASIC FUNCTION SUMMARY
Perform flight crew functions in support of worldwide airborne geophysical survey missions. All duties are performed in accordance with applicable IAGSA Recommendations, Company Operations Manual, Federal Aviation Regulations and applicable local requirements. Applicants must be customer focused and be able to integrate into a team environment. Flight crews are required to exceed the customer’s mission requirements in a consistent and professional manner.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Must hold the following Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Pilot Ratings:
Commercial Multi-Engine Land (MEL)
Instrument Aircraft
Minimum Flight Experience:
2000 hours total time preferred
500 hours multi engine preferred
Turbine experience required
Low level survey experience preferred
International flying experience preferred
Twin Otter experience preferred
Must be willing to travel internationally to remote locations
Valid FAA second class medical certificate
Physical Demands: Physical Effort: Climbing, standing, stooping, bending, pushing, kneeling, stretching, extensive walking and working in tiring uncomfortable positions. May require lifting of objects whose weight may exceed 50 pounds. Special vision abilities required to perform this job are close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
Work Environment: The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc. Travel to austere and inhospitable high stress environments will be required. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards.
Requirements:
Must possess a valid driver's license
Must possess a valid passport
Must be able to pass drug, alcohol and thorough background check(s)
Must be willing to work overtime
Must be fluent (speak, read, write) in English
Must be able to provide identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification document form upon hire.
