Job Description An employer in Englewood, CO is looking for a Geophysicist to join their team. This will be a 6- month contract to hire position paying up to 23.00 an hour. This is primarily a field position, expect 95-100% fieldwork. This role could transition in to 75% if hired on fulltime. This person must have a desire to work with multiple geophysical survey methods. The focus will be utility locating using geophysical methods such as radiofrequency, GPR, and electromagnetics for the current workload. This work will involve engineering geophysics which requires a high degree of problem solving and willingness to think outside the box- attention to detail and aptitude to use sensitive electronic equipment in a field setting are a must. This person will also be troubleshooting and must have a basic understanding of electronic equipment care and maintenance.
