Are you a Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) Professional with Electro-Optical (EO), Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR), Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), or Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR) experience? Can you extract, analyze, store, and incorporate data into finished intelligence products? Imagine yourself working on top level critical network defense missions alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a GEOINT EO / SAR Analyst with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our US Army Pacific (USARPAC) customer.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for analyzing overhead and aerial imagery. Provide teams with critical information about enemy forces, potential battle areas, and combat operations supportConduct exploitation, development, and distribution of geospatial intelligence products to support customer missionsDevelop and maintain analytical procedures to meet changing requirements and ensure operational mission complianceCompile and maintain imagery and target dataPrepare maps, charts, reports, and geo-spatial intelligenceProvide analysis and research of industry, infrastructure, technology, country, geographic area, biographic and targeted vulnerabilitiesPerform quality control of GEOINT reports before releasePrepare assessments of current events based on the collection, research, and analysis of classified and open source informationCollect data using a combination of standard intelligence methods and business processesSupport a team of intelligence analysts and interface with the government customer on deliverables, requirements, and GEOINT productsExploit and analyze multi-sensor imagery and geospatial dataAnalyze terrain and structures to determine usability and possible threatsUtilize maps to determine locations and distance from targetsNOTE: Shift work required

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

3 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree4+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on the production of intelligence analysisDetailed knowledge of various GEOINT collection sensors, platforms, and sources within collection disciplines, including associated collection strategies and tasking procedures for Electro-Optical (EO) Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR)Detailed knowledge of a wide range of GEOINT concepts, principles, and practices, and its sub-disciplines, policy, operations, tasking, and procedures to process, analyze, and report intelligence findings based upon theater and national taskingDetailed knowledge of targeting principals associated with GEOINT platforms, publicly available information, and open source networksExcellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to proofread, edit, and finalize intelligence products for senior leader briefingsValid US PassportActive DoD TS/SCI clearance required

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience working GEOINT analytical support with a focus on INDOPACOM threats is highly preferredPrior service Army Geospatial Intelligence Imagery Analyst (35G)Experience supporting USARPAC GEOINT Intelligence analysisExperience supporting USINDOPACOM intelligence and or operationsWorking knowledge of GEOINT sub-disciplines to include Synthetic Aperture RADAR (SAR) Thermal Infrared (TIR), Spectral, Electro-Optical (EO), Moving Target Indicator (MTI), and non-imaging infrared and Light Detection and Ranging (LiDAR)Knowledge of Socet GXP, IEC, NES, ENVI, AGITK, eTPR, VAP, Cedalion, ArcGIS and ESRI tools and common office software to include PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, word processing

Salary Range: 

$83,300.00 - $145,800.00
