Job Description: We are looking for a highly motivated, self-driven Geotechnical Staff Engineer to join our team in Orlando, FL. Our office provides comprehensive consulting engineering services, including geotechnical engineering and construction materials testing. While a significant portion of our client base is private/commercial, we also engage in public sector projects. Responsibilities + Perform field observation and testing on grading and construction projects, including field density testing and concrete sampling and testing. + Perform geotechnical exploration including soils borings, concrete and asphalt evaluations for various geotechnical studies. + Assist in geotechnical report preparation including exploration logs, geotechnical analyses including slope stability, liquefaction, settlement, and report writing. + Perform miscellaneous field, office and laboratory duties in support of geotechnical studies and construction materials testing projects. Skills: + Geotechnical engineering + Geotechnica + EIT + Civil engineering + Civil + Geotechnical analysis Additional Skills & Qualifications: + BS in Civil Engineer (MS preferred) + Emphasis on geotechnical engineering strongly preferred. + Successful completion of NCEES FE Exam preferred. + 0-3 yrs professional experience preferred.
