Job Description
We are looking for a motivated Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will uphold safety and quality standards, conduct field observations and testing, assist in data collection and report preparation, and work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. This role requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering and 0-3 years of relevant experience.
ResponsibilitiesFollow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.Participate in pre-task planning and report safety issues or concerns to management.Maintain quality standards on all projects.Perform field observation, inspection, and field and laboratory testing.Assist in research and data collection.Prepare associated reports or sections of larger reports.Evaluate routine laboratory and field data for inclusion in reports.Consult with technical staff and supervisors on routine and less complex projects.Perform basic calculations and engineering analysis.Draft routine proposals and assist in preparing more complex proposals.Collaborate with engineering technician crews for testing, observations, and data gathering on project sites.Prepare daily reports documenting activities and findings.Work under the supervision of a Professional Engineer.Essential SkillsGeotechnical engineeringCivil engineeringGeologyData collectionAutoCADField and laboratory testingEngineering analysisBachelor’s Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering0-3 years of experience in Civil or Geotechnical rolesWillingness to travel for workValid driver’s license with an acceptable violation historyAdditional Skills & QualificationsMaster’s Degree in Geotechnical EngineeringEIT or EI preferredPE LicenseWork Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $68000.00/hr.
