Job Title: Geotechnical Engineer Location: New York City, NY Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: Intermediate Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Geotechnical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will spend 70%-80% of their time in the field, providing geotechnical support and inspections for commercial and residential projects throughout NYC. Key responsibilities include: + Performing field work such as soil sampling, coring, and soil boring. + Utilizing AutoCAD to design earth structures, deep foundations, support of excavation, and underpinning systems. + Writing comprehensive geotechnical reports, including SOE, retaining walls, load test details, field forms/standard logs, soil/rock classifications, drilling logs, and calculations.
