Verdantas is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer Intern for the Temecula, CA Office.
Responsibilities: Assisting in preparing engineering-related calculations, design drawings, specifications, and visual aids Assisting with fieldwork (e.g., construction observation, soil sampling, site inspections) Researching, collecting, and entering data, and applying technical principles to assist in interpreting and analyzing data Reviewing submittal; and technical documents to assess compliance with project requirements and preparing draft documents Preparing CAD drawings in accordance with NECS standards and under the guidance of a CAD designer Miscellaneous assignments on an as-needed basis
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently and in a team environment Must be able to write effectively and articulate outcomes to clients and team members The position may include travel Previous engineering internship/Co-Op experience is a plus Verdantas strives to develop new ways to increase diversity awareness within our organization.
