Braun Intertec is seeking a Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our Bloomington, Minnesota, office. This position manages moderate to highly complex geotechnical projects by providing technical expertise required to exceed client expectations.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetingsLeadership of a technical or project related teamPrepare proposals for moderate to complex projectsDevelop and execute whole scopes, and prepare engineering reports giving professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutionsManage projects (scope, schedule, budget)Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standardsMentor junior level engineering staffUnderstand and work in compliance with corporate health and safety policiesRequired Skills:

Bachelor’s degree (BS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering requiredMaster's degree (MS) in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering preferredSix or more years of geotechnical engineering experienceExperience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading a team preferredProfessional Engineer registration/licensure in MN, or ability to attain within 6 monthsAbility to lift up to 30 to 50 pounds on a periodic basisBraun Intertec is a Drug-Free Workplace and requires all new hires to complete a pre-employment drug screen test, criminal background check, and motor vehicle report.
