UES is looking for a Geotechnical Project Manager to join our Dallas team. This position entails the delivery of comprehensive geotechnical services through the coordination and execution of field explorations and laboratory testing, the analysis/evaluation of those findings, the preparation of geotechnical reports, and communication with UES clients.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform geotechnical analysis and study to assess construction site condition.Plan and conduct geotechnical exploration effectively.Perform field and environmental investigations for construction projects.Assist project professionals with project execution, proposal and report preparation.Execute smaller projects to gain experience in project management.Coordinate required testing/sampling with drill crews and assist with field activities as necessaryInterpret field data and assign laboratory testingCommunicate results of field and laboratory testing, and geotechnical recommendations, to clientsPrepare geotechnical reportsAssist with field activities during constructionEDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:Minimum two years as a project manager (required).Certification of Engineer in Training (required).Bachelor's degree (B.S.) ABET or an accredited four-year college or university in civil engineering or geology. Master’s level degree or exposure to core civil engineering disciplines through coursework (M.S. or Ph.D.) in geotechnical engineering preferred.Familiarity with modern office tools including the use of computer-based programs such as gINT, DARWin, SLOPE/W, VOLFLO, gSTABL, SLIDE, Microsoft Excel, etcPossession of a valid Texas driver license and a acceptable driving recordUES is the #1 fastest-growing AEC firm on The Zweig Group’s Hot Firm list in 2021, 2022 & 2023.
