As a Physician at our La Canada location, you’ll serve a geriatric population with opportunities to make a meaningful impact on their health every day. We are seeking an approachable, genuine, and collaborative health advocate who provides personalized experiences for people who need it the most. Because healthy is having all your needs met, not just medical treatment, we provide a supportive team and plenty of resources to help you help our patients stay healthy.
We are seeking a dedicated physician with at least two years of experience serving medically underserved or high-need communities. This role offers the opportunity to positively shape healthcare for a vulnerable population, making a lasting difference in the lives of patients who need compassionate, expert care. Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license or the ability to obtain oneNevada Pharmacy Board license or the ability to obtain oneMD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicineACGME accredited residency training in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or GeriatricsABMS board certification or eligibility in the designated disciplineBLS certification and DEAAbility to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing processPreferences
Fluency in medical Spanish strongly preferredExperience in managed care and/or geriatric careMinimum of two years of post-residency experience with the ability to provide compassionate, high-quality care in a complex clinical setting.About us:
