Summary

Summary   Provides safe, age-appropriate patient care, assisting with Activities of Daily Living while maintaining a safe and clean environment. Responsibilities Provides basic nursing care to patients. Provides AM/PM care, which may include bed bath, oral hygiene, combing hair, shaving, dressing residents, changing bed linen, cleaning overbed table and bedside stand and straightening room. Provides turning and positioning every two hours when indicated. Performs routine treatment procedures including application of devices for heat, cold, etc. Takes temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height and blood pressure accurately and in a timely manner. Performs retakes without reminder. Prepares patient for meals. Assists with meals or feeds patients. Distributes drinking water and nourishments to patients in a timely manner   Education: Required: Preferred: * High School / GED Licenses And Certification: Required: * Basic Life Support * Certified Nursing Assistant - Geriatric Nursing Asst License - Current Maryland license or eligibility to obtain Maryland licensce
